This piece was inspired by the fact that I am seriously such a crier! I have always been a super sensitive gal, prone to shedding tears over just about anything- a sentimental tv commercial, a sad song, feeling tired. Although I have pretty much always been like this, I feel that I am only just starting to accept this part of me. I am becoming more comfortable & happy with who I am & the fact that I'm such a crier & that's okay.
Men say a lot of stupid things to me. That’s not an accusation. It’s not even an intelligent observation. It’s a fact. And do you know what makes me feel worse about myself?
I let them.
And that’s not fucking fair.
