Trans Day of Remembrance

  • Ygender 100 Drummond Street Carlton, VIC, 3053 Australia (map)

TDoR is an annual day in memory of trans/gender diverse people who have been killed because of transphobic violence and discrimination.

A list of names we remember from the past year will be read out, followed by songs, music, poetry, and readings by trans/gender diverse people.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, and there will be a chill-out space availble on the night.

This is an all-ages event for trans and gender diverse people and allies.

We acknowledge that our event will take place on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, whose sovereignty was never ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land, and we pay our respect to their elders both past and present.
