MYRIAD: celebrating trans and gender diverse creativity and community

  • Northcote Town Hall 189 High Street Northcote, VIC, 3070 Australia (map)

As part of 2016's IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex discrimination and Transphobia), myriad collective presents MYRIAD.
This two-day event is a showcase of trans and gender diverse talent, including a performance night, art exhibition, and creative industries workshop.

Building on the foundation laid by the Reframing Gender project of 2014-2015, we are seeking to continue and expand the work of providing performance, exhibition, and community-building spaces for trans and gender diverse people in Melbourne.

Friday 20th May =
the opening of the art exhibition, and a performance extravaganza featuring a dazzling array of poetry, theatre, dance, and music.

Saturday 21st May =
the art exhibition will remain open to the public from 11am-3pm. We are also hosting a creative industries workshop for trans and gender diverse people in the arts, from 1pm-3pm. For more information on the workshop, please see the event page at
