Eat If You're Hungry - Zine Launch

  • Boney 68 Little Collins Street Melbourne, VIC, 3000 Australia (map)

Eat If You’re Hungry invites you to the launch of their first zine – ‘I am not a bad feminist’.

Founded by Ellie McCooey and Tori Hermitage, Eat If You’re Hungry is a zine that aims to explore the different interpretations and applications of feminism today. Contemporary feminism is fragmented, diverse and constantly evolving, meaning different things to different people.
Feminism doesn’t define women, and women don’t define feminism.
We believe that instead of being a moral blueprint for women and society, or a doctrine that provides us with all the answers, feminism is more about asking questions.

Our zine aims to explore these questions.

So if you’re hungry, or if you’re full, come and have a beer with us, and flick through this thing that we’ve worked really hard at putting together.

Line-up -
Adrianna (PBS)

We’re bursting at the seams with excitement to have three of our favourite, and fabulous female representatives of the Melbourne music scene. You should be too.

Zine’s will be on sale all night.
The aim is for everybody to have a copy, so we’re proposing a pay what you feel policy.
$5 covers the cost of printing.
Any more will help us to continue this project, and ensure that we can produce a second edition. Bigger and better.
