Mother Tongue - Women Speak!

  • Pulse (Ground Floor) 1 Pitt Street Brunswick, VIC, 3056 Australia (map)

Mother Tongue - Where Inspirational Women Speak Up.

A place for Passionate, Powerful, Vulnerable and Honest performance; it stands aside from, most Spoken Word events in its depth and authenticity.

So for those who don't know; Mother Tongue is an intimate, warm and cozy night of Woman's Spoken Word (poetry, stories etc etc). It is a space to sit back and listen, receive, as well as step up to your ultimate awesomeness and share a piece yourself. It is also a place to witness Woman in all of her incredible facets.

All genders are welcome in the audience, open mic slots available to those who identify as women. (Please view our Diversity Policy here http://www.mothertonguepoetry.com/#!diversity-policy/vspe2 )

Passionate, Powerful, Vulnerable, and Honest.

This month's Featured performers are:

BRIGID MORGAN - A powerful woman new to the Melbourne scene of Spoken Word.

And

FENELLA - This woman has featured at Mother Tongue before and she is returning with (hopefully) more freestyle awesomeness and some new pieces!

Hosted by Fleassy Malay and Tania Kavathas.
